ST. PAUL, MN – Participation for the 2008 AFLA Annual Conference set for Sept. 10-12 in Phoenix has set a record-high since going from a semi-annual to annual conference format. With still 12 left to register, AFLA reports that 276 fleet professionals have registered for the conference, surpassing the 2007 conference, which was the previous record attendance year.

In addition, a record number of commercial fleet managers have signed up for the 2008 AFLA conference.

There is still time to register for this year's conference at www.aflaonline.com. The meeting will be held Sept. 10-12 at the JW Marriott Desert Ridge Hotel in Phoenix. The conference agenda can be found at www.aflaonline.com.

"AFLA has turned into a must-attend event for commercial fleet managers," said Elsie Lucia, AFLA president and director of fleet services for the Estee Lauder Companies. "The AFLA Conference offers high-level education on strategic issues facing commercial fleet managers and offers terrific networking opportunities in an intimate setting."
