AFLA Conference to Discuss Fuel Prices and Resale

PHOENIXCommercial fleet manager registration for the upcoming Automotive Fleet & Leasing Association (AFLA) 2008 Conference, "Roadmap to the Future," has reached a record-high. Set for September 10-12 at the JW Marriott Desert Ridge Resort in Phoenix, the conference will offer ideas for strategic fleet management, answering questions on fuel prices and resale, such as:

  • Near- and long-term fuel price trends.
  • Factors driving resale values in today's market and forecast of the future.
  • Macroeconomic trends that will influences fleet operating costs.
  • New automotive technologies currently in the product pipeline at major OEMs.

Presenters include John Kingston of Platts, a global provider of energy and metals information, hosting a workshop titled,"How High Will Fuel Prices Go?" and Black Book's Ricky Beggs, discussing "Trends in the Wholesale Remarketing Market and Their Impact on Commercial Fleets."
