Mazda5 Receives NHTSA Five-Star Crash Test Ratings

IRVINE, CAThe 2008 Mazda5 was recently crash-tested by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA). The vehicle received 5-star ratings for frontal driver protection, frontal passenger protection, and driver's side protection; as well as 4-star ratings for side rear passenger. The Mazda5's rollover resistance rating is 4-stars.

These results and additional information are available at NHTSA's www.safercar.gov Web site, and will apply to both 2008 and 2009 models.
