2008 BMW 135i Convertible Powerful and Sporty

MONTEREY, CA – The BMW 1 Series features either a 230-hp 3.0L inline Six for the 128i or the 300-hp twin-turbo version of the same engine for the 135i. Also, a powered soft-top was chosen for the model, which erects or stashes itself in around 22 seconds, at vehicle speeds up to 30 mph.

According to BMW, the 135i will hit 60 mph in 5.1 seconds, while the 128i needs 6.1 second to achieve that same speed.

Other features include sun-protected optional leather upholstery and a specially adapted climate-control system. Prices start at $33,875 for the 128i and $39,875 for the 135i.
