LeasePlan USA, Telargo Introduce Telematics Product

ALPHARETTA, GA – LeasePlan USA introduced a telematics product through its strategic partner Telargo, Inc., a provider of mobile asset management solutions. Telargo’s mobile asset management service provides LeasePlan’s existing and future customers with an additional product in its complete fleet management package. The information provided can lead to lower operating expense and streamlined business processes.

The telematics product will allow LeasePlan USA’s customers to have more visibility into the operations of their fleet vehicles through mobile asset management packages that can include critical real-time vehicle data, access to detailed analytical tools, maintenance diagnostic alerts, and exception notifications, such as geo-fencing, excess idling, unauthorized driver, etc. The fleet management packages can also be customized for different industries to address more specialized needs.

The all-inclusive subscription fee model offers customers no upfront investment and a low total cost of ownership. Customers will be provided with a seamless introduction of new services with historical data availability, no technology risk, and the documentation, sample programming, and application hooks required to interface with all major enterprise system vendors (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft, etc.).
