TORRANCE, CA – The 2008 RX 400h is a four-door, five-passenger luxury SUV. The vehicles — available
in two trims: the FWD and the AWD — is freshened for 2008.
Upon
introduction, the FWD is equipped with a standard 3.3L, V-6, 268-horsepower,
hybrid engine that achieves 27-mpg in the city and 24-mpg on the highway. The
AWD is equipped with a standard 3.3L, V-6, 268-horsepower, hybrid engine that
achieves 26-mpg in the city and 24-mpg on the highway.
A variable speed automatic transmission with overdrive
is standard on both trims.
