ARTICLE TOOLS        | E-MailPrint

ALPHARETTA, GA – Matt Betz, VP of AmeriFleet Transportation's National Account Sales, is the recipient of the NAFA Fleet Management Association's 5th Excellence in Education Award. Betz was honored with the award at NAFA's recent 2008 Institute & Expo in Salt Lake City. AmeriFleet is a provider of total logistics solutions and transportation services to the fleet management and corporate fleet industry.

The Excellence in Education Award is NAFA's award given for continued exceptional contributions to fleet management education, specifically NAFA education product and program initiation, development, and delivery. A recipient of this award has only been named four times in NAFA's 50-year history, and Betz is the first non-fleet manager to be honored.

"Matt has shown a commitment to fleet management for more than 16 years as a volunteer on both the chapter and national levels," said NAFA Senior Vice President Chris Amos, CAFM. "He has led NAFA seminars, conducted sessions at numerous industry conferences, led numerous chapter educational meetings, and has enriched literally thousands of fleet managers over the years. Matt has been the driving force behind several of NAFA'S learning initiatives."
