Q. When does the ELD Mandate take effect?

A. Effective December 18, 2017 the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) is requiring all commercial motor carriers over 10,001 pounds to have Electronic Logging Devices (ELD). We recommend to putting systems in place by September 2017 to allow time for training.
