June 15, 2008

SACRAMENTO, CA – Clean Energy, Inc., under its electric vehicle division, Clean Electric, will begin marketing and presales of electric motorcycles and scooters on July 4. The company's Web site will feature two models for sale: an electric motorcycle and an electric scooter.

A vehicle sales team is being recruited and trained for the California marketplace in the coming 60 days. Clean Electric is also in the process of completing a four-passenger EV sedan capable of freeway speeds. An existing production line vehicle model has been selected for conversion from gasoline to 100-percent electric. Testing and approval are anticipated over the next 6-12 months. The Clean Electric Sedan is scheduled for release for sale in late 2008 or early 2009.

Sometimes parts are installed "aftermarket" because an owner wants higher performance equipment or alternative parts than what is installed at the factory.
