Infiniti's 2016 Q70 luxury sedan will retail for at least $50,755 for the base model in a lineup that also includes long wheelbase models and a gasoline-electric hybrid.

The Q70 is available in five models: Q70 3.7 RWD, Q70 3.7 AWD, Q70 5.6 RWD, Q70 5.6 AWD and Q70 Hybrid RWD. And the luxury sedan is also available in four extended wheelbase models: Q70L 3.7, Q70L 3.7 AWD, Q70L 5.6, and Q70L 5.6 AWD.

Similar to the previous model-year, the Q70 3.7 and Q70 5.6 models are offered with rear-wheel drive or Infiniti's Intelligent all-wheel drive (AWD) system.

The Q70 3.7L V-6 engine delivers 330 hp and 270 lb.-ft. of torque, while the Q70 5.6 offers a 420 hp and 417 lb.-ft. of torque. Both engines feature Infiniti's advanced variable valve event and lift (VVEL) system and all models are equipped with a standard 7-speed automatic transmission.

The Infiniti Q70 Hybrid comes with the automaker's Direct Response Hybrid system, an advanced one-motor, two-clutch parallel hybrid system that helps deliver fuel efficiency of 34 mpg highway, 29 mpg city and 31 mpg combined.

The Infiniti Direct Response Hybrid system's precise, high-speed motor control technology, enabled by the lithium-ion battery, allows power to be delivered directly to the 7-speed automatic transmission. The system also utilizes an innovative Hybrid Electric Power Steering system and Electric Driven Intelligent Brake regenerative braking system, both of which help conserve energy.

Notable additions to all Q70 models are the available predictive forward collision warning, backup collision intervention systems, Infiniti advanced air bag system (AABS), 3-point front seat belts with pretensioners and load limiters and adjustable upper anchors; vehicle security system with Infiniti's vehicle immobilizer system, front seat active head restraints with 4-way manual adjustments, and more.
