MT. LAUREL, NJ - Automotive Resources International (ARI), a global fleet solutions provider of complex car and truck fleet services, announced the retirement of Fred Booth, president of ARI Canada, effective Dec. 31.

Booth joined ARI in 1993 as general manager and was promoted to his current position in 1998. Under his leadership, ARI Canada grew significantly-rising from 11th in the industry to number one-and established an unparalleled reputation for delivering outstanding service, according to ARI.

"I want to thank Fred for nearly 18 years of service and his commitment to ARI," said Carl Ortell, president of ARI. "While we will miss his distinctive combination of business experience, industry knowledge, and genuine warmth, he leaves behind a legacy of success that will not be forgotten. The entire ARI family wishes him the best in his retirement."

In conjunction with Booth's retirement, ARI also announced the promotion of Roy Gaysek as president of ARI Canada, effective at the end of 2010. Gaysek joined the company in 1993 as a regional sales manager and most recently worked as executive vice president and chief operating officer for ARI Canada.
