PHILADELPHIA --- At the recent Collision Industry Conference meeting in Philadelphia, Toyota executive Karl Krug announced the company has placed its Collision Repair Reference Guide online.

The guide is accessible to repairers through the company's Wholesale Parts website, but users must register.

Krug, who works in the company's customer service division, said the online reference guide provides access to vehicle identification charts, jacking and hoisting specifications, wheel alignment specifications, SRS airbag component replacement, the hybrid emergency response guide, and diagrams showing high-strength steel locations, according to a report in CollisionWeek. Users can search content by year and subject, such as paint and refinish formula codes or vehicle body dimensions.
