Jaguar Land Rover North America LLC is recalling 3,912 2013-2014 model-year Range Rover SUVs to fix a potential front-seat side airbag problem, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration reported.

Because of insufficient clearance, the supplemental restraint system (SRS) connector located in the front seat area may become disconnected. If this connector disengages, the front side airbag may not function properly.

To remedy the problem, Land Rover dealers will modify the area around the connector to prevent it from disconnecting. There will be no charge for this service. The recall is expected to begin Jan. 17.

Vehicle owners can reach Land Rover at 1-800-637-6837, Option 9. Land Rover's number for this recall is P037.
