The problem of drowsy driving will take center stage at an NTSB public forum set for Oct. 21.

Overcoming the dangers of drowsy driving will be the subject of a public forum scheduled for Oct. 21 at the National Transportation Safety Board’s headquarters in Washington, D.C.

Panelists will address the problem’s prevalence, how it affects driving safety in noncommercial vehicles, and potential countermeasures to strengthen prevention.

The forum is free and open to the public. NTSB will also stream the event live via webcast from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
