Mercedes-Benz is issuing two separate safety recalls affecting a total of 376 vehicles, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration reports.

One recall covers 218 2013-MY GLK350 and GLK350 4-Matic SUVs with parking lamp circuits that exceed the allowable voltage. These lamps can create excessive glare for drivers in oncoming vehicles, NHTSA said. To address the issue, dealers will update the software calibration number of the electronic control unit.

A second recall affects 158 2011- and 2012-MY S550, S550 CGI, S63, S600 Bi-Turbo, S65 AMG, S550 4-Matic, S550 CGI 4-Matic and S400 Hybrid vehicles manufactured from March 3, 2011, through July 30, 2011.

The tire pressure monitoring system indicators may only illuminate for a portion of the time required by federal safety standards, NHTSA said. To fix the problem, dealers will reprogram the tire pressure monitoring unit, free of charge.

Both recalls are expected to begin this month. Vehicle owners can reach Mercedes-Benz at 1-800-367-6372.
