Toyota's base model 2017 Corolla will retail for $18,500, which reflects a $281 increase from the prior year, the automaker has announced.

The Corolla L CVT remains the base model. It's powered by a 1.8L four-cylinder mated to a continuously variable transmission with intelligent shift (CVTi-S). The top-line Corolla XSE with CTSi-S retails for $22,680. Toyota will offer six Corolla trim grades, including L, LE, LE Eco, SE, XSE, and XLE. The SE is available with a 6-speed manual transmission.

The Corolla gets minor updates for 2017, including a sportier look with a new front grille and LED headlights. A back-up camera is now standard across the lineup. Bluetooth and Entune Audio are also standard.

Toyota has also announced pricing for its Corolla iM hatchback and 86 sport car that replaces the Scion FR-S. For full pricing details, click here.
