Jaguar Land Rover will add a fourth Range Rover SUV to its lineup called the Velar that will slot between the Evoque and Range Rover Sport, the company has announced.

The Range Rover Velar will premiere on March 1 and make its U.S. debut at the New York International Auto Show, which runs from April 14 to 23. More details will be provided at its premiere.

The Velar name comes from original Range Rover prototypes in 1969, and it derived from the Latin "velare" that means to veil or cover.
