The 2018 Mercedes-Benz S-Class lineup will receive a new generation of engines, bevy of driver assisting features, and upgraded interior, the company announced as it will show the luxury sedan at the Shanghai auto show.

Mercedes-Benz will offer two models, including the S450 and S560, in addition to a pair of AMG models. The S450 will be powered by a 3.0L bi-turbo V-6 that makes 362 horsepower and 369 lb.-ft. of torque. It will be available with the 4Matic all-wheel drive system.

The S560 will be powered by a 4.0L bi-turbo V-8 that makes 463 hp and 516 lb.-ft. of torque. Buyers can also opt for the Mercedes-Maybach S560 4Matic.

The 2018 S-Class arrives with upgraded safety and driver assistance technology, including Active Distance Assist Distronic that can adjust speeds ahead of corners, slow down, and speed up automatically.

The S-Class also adds wireless phone charging in the center console.

Mercedes-Benz will offer the S63 and S65 AMG models that will be powered by the 4.0L V-8 and carryover 6.0L V-12 respectively.
