The new engine will make 550 horsepower will power the performance-oriented vehicle and will add to a growing list of V-Series models that already includes the ATS-V, ATS-V Coupe, CTS-V, CTS V-Sport, and XTS V-Sport.

Cadillac will pair the new engine with a 10-speed transmission with a 7.39 gear ratio spread that enhances off-the-line performance and reduces highway speed to improve efficiency.

The vehicle will ride on 20-inch wheels with summer tires and a 19-inch Brembo brake system that's been developed for the vehicle.
