PHH Corp. removed the interim label from Jim Halliday's title, naming him president of the company's PHH Arval fleet management division.

Halliday has been serving as interim president since Dec. 20, when he replaced George Kilroy, who resigned.

"I'm honored to have been chosen to lead PHH Arval," Halliday said in a statement. "Our unwavering commitment to customer service, product innovation and operational excellence has helped to establish us as a leader in the fleet management services industry. I look forward to PHH Arval continuing to deliver industry leading customer service and proactive solutions to our customers and their drivers."

Halliday, a 10-year veteran of PHH, has held various roles in client sales, client relations, and marketing since joining the company. Prior to taking over as president, Halliday was senior vice president and chief business development officer of North America and president of PHH Canada.

Halliday's appointment comes with PHH Corp. considering whether to spin off its fleet management business. Glen Messina, president and CEO of PHH Corp., credited Halliday with "a deep understanding of our fleet business."
