General Motors is recalling 290,107 2010-2015 model-year Cadillac SRX and 2011-2012 Saab 9-4X crossovers in the U.S. so dealers can ensure the rear toe link adjuster nuts are tightened properly, the Detroit News reports.

If the nuts are too loose, the toe adjuster link might eventually separate and allow the wheel to shift while driving. As a result, vehicle handling could become unstable. GM dealers will conduct an inspection to assess torqueing and to determine whether a new link assembly should be installed.

GM indicated that three crashes and two injuries are linked to this problem, the newspaper reported.
