Fiat Chrysler's Alfa Romeo division introduced the 2018 Stelvio — a luxury SUV with Italian styling and ultra-high performance engines — ahead of the Los Angeles Auto Show.

The Stelvio joins the 4C sports car and Giulia sports sedan in a lineup of Alfas offered by FCA in a revival of the brand.

The Stelvio will be built in Italy and arrive in three trim grades, including the base, Ti, and Quadrifoglio. The Stelvio and Stelvio Ti are powered by a 2.0L direct-injection four cylinder that makes 280 hp and 308 lb.-ft. of torque, while the Quadrifoglio is powered by a 2.9L 24-valve bi-turbo V-6 that produces 505 hp and 443 lb.-ft.

The Quadrifoglio includes the Q4 all-wheel-drive system as standard equipment. Alfa Romeo incorporated Ferarri technology in to the vehicle.

Pricing and availability will be announced at a later date.
