FRANKLIN, KY – Toyo Tire U.S.A. Corp. will increase pricing on its consumer and commercial tires up to 10 percent effective October 1, according to Modern Tire Dealer magazine.

"The cost of raw materials, energy, and transportation continue to rise at a steep rate, making it necessary for us to increase our prices," says Steve Weinger, senior vice president of sales and marketing.

The increases will cover Toyo brand passenger, light truck, truck, and OTR tires.

Cooper Tire & Rubber Co., Continental Tire North America Inc. (consumer only) and Michelin North America Inc. (commercial only) also will increase tire prices in October.
