Jaguar is adding the sporty E-Pace compact SUV to its 2018 model-year lineup as a second performance-oriented luxury crossover along with the 2017 F-Pace.

The E-Pace will go on sale in early 2018 and will retail for at least $39,595. Jaguar will unveil the vehicle on July 13 during an online streaming event.

With the E-Pace, Jaguar will have added three new vehicles to its lineup in two model years. Jaguar is also planning to produce a battery-electric crossover tentatively called the I-Pace that's scheduled to go into production in 2018.

The E-Pace will offer several gasoline engines and standard all-wheel drive.
