Hyundai's 2018 Sonata will retail for $450 more than the 2017 mid-size sedan when it arrives this summer with several new features including blind spot detection, new body styling, and LED daytime running lights, the automaker has announced.
Hyundai will offer the 2018 Sonata in four trim grades — SE, SEL, Limited, and Sport — and three powertrains, including the base 2.4-liter, 1.6-liter turbo Eco model, and 2.0-liter turbo engines. Hyundai pairs the base engine with a six-speed automatic, Eco model with a seven-speed dual clutch transmission, and 2.0-liter with an eight-speed automatic.
In addiiton to blind spot detection, the 2018 Sonata will offer a new lane departure warning system with an available enhanced Lane Keep Assist function.
