Cincinnati-based Mike Albert Fleet Solutions has hired two business development managers to work the northeast region as the company continues its expansion efforts under new leadership.

Mike Albert Fleet Solutions has hired Jay Mudrick and Ben Bottone, who previously held sales roles with other fleet management companies.

"They are seasoned professionals with a wealth of knowledge in the fleet management industry and we are excited to have them as part of our growing team," said Jeffery Hart, the company's president.

Mudrick, who joined the company in July, brings 30 years of experience in the fleet leasing and services industry to the role. He has served as president of his own company, Fleet Advisory Associates, since 2014, when he left his role as regional vice president at PHH FirstFleet. He joined PHH in 2011. Earlier in his career, from 1994 to 2001, he served as a vice president at GE Capital's fleet leasing unit.

Bottone, who also joined the company in July, recently served as regional sales manager for the East Coast for Equipment Technology Inc. (ETI), where he managed aerial truck sales. He served as a regional sales manager for Wheels, Inc., from 1999 to 2009. He also served as a vice president for US Fleet Leasing from 1992 to 1999.

The fleet management company has been expanding its sales efforts and footprint since early 2017. Hart joined Mike Albert Fleet Solutions as president in December of 2016. He is the first non-family leader of the company that entered the fleet leasing business in 1957.

Hart has developed an aggressive expansion strategy to increase market share in existing markets and enter underserved markets. As part of this strategy, Ted Cain joined the company as executive vice president of sales in July.

"We exceeded our 2017 goals and are very excited about our 2018 strategy," Hart said.
