ARI, a leading global fleet services provider specializing in complex car and truck fleets, was presented with a Bronze Stevie Award in the category for Tech Innovation of the Year for organizations with more than 1,000 employees at the 11th Annual American Business Awards.

The Tech Innovation of the Year category recognizes notable innovations in technology and new products that have revolutionized the marketplace. ARI received this award for its integrated telematics solution, which allows the web-based and mobile ARI insights system to serve as a single platform for fleet managers by providing access to all of the telematics information their fleet may generate through multiple telematics vendors and devices. This presents a more complete and holistic view of business operations and offers the opportunity to bring a more strategic approach to the overall management of a company’s fleet.

The trophies were presented to winners during a gala banquet held on Monday, September 16 at the Julia Morgan Ballroom in San Francisco. More than 250 nominees and their guests attended the gala event, which focused on the technology and new product awards categories. Awards for marketing, customer service, human resources, and other disciplines were announced in Chicago in June.

“I am honored by this recognition of ARI’s achievement and I would like to acknowledge the technology partners who’ve established strong business relationships with ARI which have allowed us to implement the groundbreaking technology solution that has led to this award,” said ARI Vice President of Product Development Tony Candeloro. “I would also like to thank everyone at ARI who contributed to this honor and recognize that this success wouldn’t be possible without the support of the entire ARI and Holman leadership team who dedicate great resources to the development of technology for our company and the fleet management industry.”

In 2012, ARI won a bronze medal in the same category for its implementation of in-memory technology to deliver real-time analytics on high volumes of data.

The American Business Awards honor the achievements of organizations and business people worldwide. More than 3,200 nominations from organizations of all sizes and in virtually every industry were submitted this year for consideration in a wide range of categories, including Most Innovative Company of the Year, Management Team of the Year, Best New Product or Service of the Year, Corporate Social Responsibility Program of the Year, and Executive of the Year, among others.

Stevie Award winners were selected by more than 320 executives nationwide who participated in the judging process. Details about The American Business Awards and the lists of Stevie Award winners who were announced on September 16 are available at www.StevieAwards.com/ABA.
