Five 2014 model-year luxury vehicles have been named the "Five Best Fun Cars for CEOs" by Chief Executive magazine and Edmunds.com.

The featured cars include the Jaguar F-Type V-8 S, Porsche 911 Turbo S, Audi RS 7, BMW i8, and Chevrolet Corvette Stingray.

Each car was evaluated based on its horsepower, price as tested, miles per gallon, added benefits, negatives and "what it says about the driver." The Jaguar F, for example, has the "coolest headlights in the universe," while the Audi RS 7's Bang and Olufsen sound system "is incredible," according to the annual feature that runs on the websites of both publications.

The Porsche 911 Turbo S is the priciest of the lot, at $210,620, while the Chevrolet Corvette cost the least, at $66,080. The Audi and Porsche tied for horsepower at 560. Each model is a two-door convertible that allows CEOs to power down on the weekends and enjoy their time away from the office.

"CEOs have the most difficult and stressful jobs in their respective companies," said J.P. Donlon, editor-in-chief of Chief Executive magazine. "Blowing off steam on the weekends is not only well deserved, it's a necessary part of staying healthy. Sports cars address both ends of the spectrum."
