Mercedes-Benz has introduced the 2016 Mercedes-Maybach S600 luxury sedan that will likely find a niche as a high-end luxury executive vehicle that will likely require a chauffeur. The automaker unveiled the vehicle at the Los Angeles Auto Show.

The vehicle, which will arrive in the U.S. in April of 2015, is powered by a 6.0-liter V-12 bi-turbo engine that produces 523 hp and 612 lb.-ft. of torque at 1900 rpm. The full-size luxury sedan is built on an S-550 platform.

Mercedes-Benz has upped the ante with the vehicle's interior features, offering a lavish cabin with ambient lighting, perfume Agarwood, Burmester high-end 3D sound system, and analogue clock with IWC design.

At the press conference announcing the vehicle, a Mercedes-Benz executive said the vehicle offers an "emotional luxury lounge inside."
