Jaguar is adding an all-aluminum body to its second-generation 2016 XF luxury sedan, and will debut the vehicle at the New York International Auto Show.
The XF, which replaced the S-Type sedan for the 2009 model year, will go on sale at U.S. dealers in the fall with "exceptional levels of technology, refinement, luxury, and comfort," according to Jaguar.
Jaguar is revealing the car using a dramatic stunt by sending the vehicle across the Atlantic on a high wire from London to New York City. The high-wire journey using two 1.3-inch wires will begin March 24. Jaguar is live-streaming the journey.
Full details about the vehicle will be revealed on April 1 when the XF arrives in New York.
