The CEI Group, Inc., has appointed Ken Latzko as its director of sales support, the fleet driver management company has announced.
In his new role, Latzko will lead marketing and creative services support of sales activities and field sales leadership teams.
Latzko will draw upon an extensive range of fleet accident management and safety management experience with CEI, as a team leader in strategic account services, customer program specialist, sales and marketing coordinator and regional sales manager.
In those positions, he has supported large accounts in the U.S. and Europe with regard to operations troubleshooting and customer service, and has provided RFP and sales presentation assistance for sales teams. Latzko has also been responsible for implementing and administering CEI's customer relationship management (CRM) system (Salesforce.com).
"We are counting on Ken's diverse experience and success within CEI to help us elevate our tactical sales support and to contribute toward strategic planning initiatives," said Wayne Smolda, CEI's president and chief executive officer. "He will also lead our GE Capital Fleet Services account relationship, where his hands-on experience as a customer program specialist at GE Fleet's Eden Prairie, Minn.-headquarters will be a valuable asset."
Latzko has represented CEI at a variety of AFLA, NAFA, and Fleet Safety Conference activities, while serving as CEI Southeast regional sales manager.
