Mark Thompson, a long-time employee of GELCO and GE Capital Fleet Services, passed away suddenly on Feb. 16, 2016. He was 65.

Thompson got his start in the fleet business working in the GELCO truck group. In addition to GELCO, Thompson worked for GE Capital Fleet Services, XATA, and Kerr Vehicle Resources. At the time of his death, Thompson was COO and CFO for BioMatrix in Princeton, Minn.

In his leisure time, Thompson was an avid hunter, fisherman, and golfer.

He is survived by his wife of 44 years Sally, a son, Alex, and daughter, Sarah, and five grandchildren.
