Fleet FAQ? Driver Risk Management

Q. What are the key elements of an effective driver risk management program?

A. There are five cyclical steps to creating sustained improvement, even as new drivers – and new risk – enter the fleet:

  • Establishing and ultimately strengthening a crash-free safety culture.
  • Proactively identifying at-risk drivers. We use an integration of crash and collision data, telematics data, license check and other data to get an accurate view.
  • Creating risk reduction plans for most at-risk drivers or company divisions
  • Delivering targeted risk reduction guidance
  • Benchmarking
