Ivor Johnson has been appointed operation director global fleet at Pfizer. The pharma giant has a global vehicle fleet of over 20,000 vehicles in more than 70 countries. He succeeds Fred Turco who is now in charge of business development and professional service procurement at Pfizer.  In his new role, Ivor reports to Martin Dolezel, senior director global procurement.

After having worked in strategic procurement at Bristol-Myers Squibb, and after having held executive functions at Fleet Logistics UK and Leasdrive Velo, Johnson became Pfizer’s fleet director EMEA in 2008 and as such was also involved in the global fleet strategy roll-out. In 2011, Johnson was elected International Fleet Manager of the year at the Fleet Europe Awards.
