ServiceMaster has contracted with Merchants Fleet for fleet management services.

Under the agreement, Merchants will provide vehicle leasing and services to ServiceMaster’s core fleet of more than 10,000 vehicles and offer service support for its franchisees, the company announced.

ServiceMaster ranked No. 25 in Automotive Fleet's Fleet 300 ranking in 2019. Its fleet was primarily comprised of Class 1-2 trucks; however, the company also had a large sedan presence, which accounted for roughly 20% of its fleet. The company specializes in recovery services.

“We’re thrilled to partner with ServiceMaster and provide them with an innovative, industry-leading fleet experience,” said Brendan P. Keegan, CEO of Merchants Fleet. “In their industry, having the right vehicles for the job and finding ways to reduce costs without sacrificing speed and efficiency in serving their customers is critical. We look forward to assisting them in these areas while also discovering new areas of opportunity.”

Merchants stated that this deal is the latest milestone in its rapid growth.

Merchants officially opened its new headquarters in September 2019, since moving into its new building the company has experienced a 55% growth in sales talent.
