Companies Sign Up For GE Capital One Card

MasterCard issuer GE Capital Financial Inc. introduced the GE Capital One Card in the second half of 2000. The program combines fleet vehicle, travel, and purchasing card capabilities into one platform. Michael O'Malley, marketing manager for GE Capital Financial, said some companies are using the fleet vehicle and travel capabilities, and some are using purchasing and travel in combination. The GE Capital One Card employs MasterCard Multi Card capabilities to capture travel, purchasing and fleet data, including point-of-sale prompting for fuel purchases.
