Peter Lukasiak, the executive director of the National Auto Auction Association (NAAA) for more than a decade, has announced plans to retire from his position at the end of this year, according to NAAA’s president Ray Nichols. Nichols said that Lukasiak informed the association’s executive committee of his decision during the joint Southern and Eastern Zone Meetings held in Newport. Nichols said Lukasiak will continue in his current position through December, and he has told association’s leaders he would be available to continue to work with NAAA as a consultant on an as-needed basis after the first of the year.
