Prompted by strong response to its 2002 one-day informational event, the Michigan chapter of the National Association of Fleet Administrators (NAFA) will present its 2003 Fall Educational Seminar on Oct. 16, at the Toledo Hilton, on the campus of the Medical College of Ohio. The event offers “an entire year’s worth of educational meetings,” according to organizers. Featuring topics important to both commercial and public fleets, the seminar agenda includes four sessions led by speakers heard at national meetings such as the NAFA Fleet Management Institute. They include Scott Pattullo of Wheels, Inc., presenting on “Strategies for Success – Dramatic Fleet Cost Savings;” Michael Bieger, of Hoffman-La Roche, on “How to Negotiate to “Win / Win / Win”; Arthur Liggio, CEI Group, on “Managing Fleet Risks and Driver Safety Solutions;” and Patrick McCarren, of NAFA, on “Using the Internet as a Fleet Resource.” Held in conjunction with the Western Reserve and Tri-State NAFA chapters, the event is scheduled 7:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. The seminar replaces the Michigan chapter’s regular September, October, and November meetings. For further information regarding the seminar, contact Matt Betz, assistant vice-president of sales at Wheels, Inc., at (810) 220-8300 or [email protected]
