SHREVEPORT, LA — GM’s assembly plant in Shreveport, which produces Chevrolet Colorado, GMC Canyon, and HUMMER H3 vehicles was not affected by Hurricane Katrina. No delays have been experienced in Shreveport with inbound rail traffic because most is from the north and northwest areas, according to General Motors. However, the following ramps are on temporary hold for outbound traffic, and vehicles destined for these ramps will be held:

DI — Dixiana, S.C.
DR — Drew, Fla.
HW — Palm Center, Fla.
JC — Jacksonville, Fla.
PB — Petersburg, Va.
RV — Lawrenceville, Ga.

Shreveport is shipping to all other outbound ramps. Also, CSXT is reviewing alternate rail traffic routes in order to reach these six Vehicle Distribution Center locations.
