LINCOLNWOOD, IL - Grossinger Autoplex, Inc, has recently been awarded certification by the Women's Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC).

Since the passing of Irwin Grossinger in 2000, the GM, Toyota, Hyundai, and Kia dealerships are owned by his three children - son Gary and two daughters, Caroline and Suzanne.

In recent years, the significance of a female-owned organization has increased. With Caroline Grossinger (shown left) as dealer principal at the Lincolnwood locations, the year-long task of applying for WBENC recognition has been accomplished.

WBENC is comprised of 14 regional partner organizations. All partner organizations adhere to WBENC's stringent Standards and Procedures in their certification programs. WBENC provides access to a national standard of certification and information on certified women's businesses to purchasing managers through its Internet database, WBENCLink. WBENC certification is recognized and accepted by the majority of the major corporations across the U.S.
