MT. LAUREL, NJ - Automotive Resources International (ARI), a global fleet solutions provider specializing in complex car and truck fleets, announced John Mack's availability at the 2009 Green Fleet Conference to answer questions on CARB emissions compliance for diesel fleet vehicles.

ARI Manager Environmental & Fuel Strategies, John Mack, will be present in booth #37 of the expo to talk with fleets about their diesel emissions compliance needs, in particular, how to remain compliant with California Air Resource Board (CARB) regulations.

"I'm looking forward to this expo where I can talk with fleet managers and others face to face about their concerns regarding diesel emissions and CARB compliance," commented Mack. "Many states besides California are considering adopting pollution control measures that are stricter than the EPA's.  ARI wants to help fleets understand how they measure up to the multitude of complex federal, state and regional regulations and make recommendations on how they can achieve full compliance."

Mack will also serve as moderator for the informative session, "How to Make Your Green Program Pay for Itself."  Attendees will learn how savings achieved through "greening" methods such as right-sizing, telematics and idle reduction can offset the costs. Fleet managers and other professionals who will share their practical experiences in this area include Alicia Hammond, Ambius, Rachel Beckhardt Hinchliffe, Environmental Defense Fund, and Tom Hartner, Millipore Corporation (a 2009 Environmental Leadership Award winner).

The 2009 Green Fleet Conference will be held in Chicago, October 19 - 20 at the Hyatt Regency.
