Ford Shifting 2.0L EcoBoost Engine Production to U.S. to Meet Demand

The 2.0L EcoBoost inline four-cylinder engine is currently built in Valencia, Spain, but Ford plans to move production to its Cleveland Engine Plant in Ohio. This engine is available in the Explorer, Edge, all-new Escape, all-new Fusion, the Focus ST, the Taurus, and the new Lincoln MKZ and MKT Livery models.

2014 Fiesta to Feature 1.0L EcoBoost Engine

DEARBORN, MI – Ford plans to bring its 1.0L EcoBoost engine, which the automaker debuted in Europe, to the United States in the 2014-MY Fiesta. The automaker said it expects the vehicle to be the most-fuel efficient non-hybrid car available in the U.S. when it goes on sale.
