Milder weather, greater railcar availability, softer retail demand, and fewer quality holds contributed to stable or decreasing order-to-delivery (OTD) times. Most OTD issues involved vehicles shipped from Mexico to the U.S.
The average price of a used vehicle for model years 2012 to 2016 decreased in value 1.3%, slightly more than the 1.2% decrease in May, according to Black Book. The price of cars overall dropped 1.8%, while trucks decreased 0.8% in value in June. All vehicles are averaging a 12-month depreciation of 16.7%.
General Motors has announced fleet incentives for its 2018 model-year vehicles for the Buick, Cadillac, Chevrolet, and GMC brands, which includes first-time fleet incentives for the Bolt EV and second-generation Chevrolet Colorado mid-size pickup.
The 2015 GMC Canyon, the sister model to the Chevrolet Colorado, represents General Motors' return to the mid-size pickup segment. The truck offers a similar package to the Colorado, but adds a more GMC-identified grille and cast aluminum wheels. Read more about the GMC Canyon here.

Both Chevrolet and GMC have introduced three all-new pickups to offer fleets a variety of options for their variety of needs.
Despite the compact truck market diving from 2 million sales to 250,000, there appears to be ample competition coming. Most believe the compact truck market is now expanding and will continue.
