FORT WAYNE, Ind. --- The Central Indiana Clean Cities Alliance held a workshop this week to educate local fuel retailers about the infrastructure needed to sell E-85 --- a blend of 85 percent ethanol and 15 percent gasoline. The alliance is partnering with the state to hold additional workshops in various Indiana cities, according to a report in the Journal Gazette. E-85 is now sold at 23 gas stations in Indiana. Just a year ago, no stations in the state were selling the fuel. An additional 13 stations in the state have plans to begin selling E-85, the Journal Gazette said. State and federal assistance is available to help cover the cost of retailers adding an E-85 pump to a gas station.
