A. There are literally hundreds of factors in assessing fleet risk, and many of these things can change from year to year. We recommend an annual gap analysis to examine the shifts in factors such as new drivers, execution of internal processes, number of miles driven, number of road incidents, personal miles driven vs. company miles, and so on. As risk factors shift, so, then, do priorities in the risk management program to more effectively target and reduce risk.
